Are you deceiving, fooling or betraying yourself?

“Helping People Fulfill God’s Plan For Their Lives Through Business”

Are you deceiving, fooling or betraying yourself?

22 But be doers of the Word [obey the message], and not merely listeners to it, betraying yourselves [into deception by reasoning contrary to the Truth]. Luke 8:22 AMP

Who wants to betray themselves, fool themselves and deceive themselves? This is the result of not trusting God’s Word to put it into practice. When you do not put the Word of God into practice you forget your identity in Christ. You forget what you look like in the mirror. You forget that you are made righteous, you forget that Jesus Christ redeemed you, healed you, delivered you from the pit of destruction and set you at HIS banquet table forever. You forget that HE loves you unconditionally. You forget that you are made complete lacking nothing in HIM. You are completely healed, restored and reconciled in Christ Jesus.

Are you living in the freedom of Christ which God originally intended for HIS CHILDREN?

God’s Word brings freedom and victory to those enslaved in condemnation, unforgiveness, regret, loss, worry, anxiety, fear, anger, bitterness, hurt and loneliness.

22 But don’t just listen to God’s word. You must do what it says. Otherwise, you are only fooling yourselves. 23 For if you listen to the word and don’t obey, it is like glancing at your face in a mirror. 24 You see yourself, walk away, and forget what you look like. 25 But if you look carefully into the perfect law that sets you free, and if you do what it says and don’t forget what you heard, then God will bless you for doing it. James 1:22-25

Deception is in your own thinking. Deceptive thinking is to believe you cannot enter into the presence of God. It is to think that you are not good enough. Deceptive thinking is to live under oppression, condemnation, guilt, shame, anger, fear, worry, bitterness and unforgiveness. You can in fact enter into the presence of Holy God because of what Jesus Christ did for all mankind.

“Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus.” (Hebrews 10:19)

Deceptive thinking is to believe you are not good enough. You need to be a better person and do more good deeds to earn God’s favor. This is deception at the highest level. Jesus Christ through his death and resurrection has given you HIS GIFT of RIGHTEOUSNESS, HIS RESURRECTION POWER and HIS UNCONDITIONAL LOVE. There is no condemnation in Christ Jesus.
RIGHTEOUSNESS is not earned but given by faith in Jesus Christ.

Thank you, Father God, that my identity is in Christ Jesus. Thank you, Father God, that you have redeemed me into your image and likeness. Thank you, Father God, for loving me so that I can be a son or daughter.
