Are you defending your character?

114x114-Repple-Minute

Psalm 73:6 Therefore pride is their necklace; violence covers them as a garment.

Do you find yourself often defending your character? This is a fight which has already been won. This battle is finished and over. Jesus Christ through HIS shed blood on the cross defeated the enemy Satan. Satan is like a prosecutor who is full of pride, arrogance, condemnation and accusations against the follower of Christ Jesus. Jesus Christ has defeated Satan the enemy. Satan no longer has control over you through the blood of the Lamb. Jesus Christ delivered you into HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS. You have been redeemed and saved from the liar and thief who desires to kill, steal and destroy you. HE wants you to live in defeat by attacking your character and reputation.

Satan wants you to wear his necklace of pride. He tells you to put on his necklace and defend yourself from the attacks on your character. Satan is the king of pride and arrogance. Pride causes division, envy, fighting, jealousy, rage, anger, arguments, unforgiveness and strife of every sort. Pride causes you to want to defend your character or innocence. Your character is in Christ Jesus. You have been made new. The old is gone.

Jesus Christ through the power of the Holy Spirit is your defense attorney. You no longer have to battle others who are attacking your character. Your victory is in the blood of the Lamb Christ Jesus. You are a forgiven child of God. The reverential fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. God’s eyes are on you. HE sees you as HIS child, HIS offspring, HIS son and daughter, HIS friend. HE sees you spotless, pure, clean, redeemed and washed clean by HIS redeeming blood. You are the one who receives HIS inheritance. You are dearly loved. HE will allow trials, tests and circumstances to strengthen your faith. There is no need to fear man. God’s view of you is all that matters. HE is your strength. HE will defend you. The battle is the Lord’s and HE has already won.

Take off the necklace of pride and wear the Robe of Righteousness. Walk in the truth of the word of God which is active and alive.

Proverbs 11:2 When pride comes, then comes disgrace, but with the humble is wisdom.

Proverbs 16:18 Pride goes before destruction, and a haughty (arrogant) spirit before a fall.
