Are You in Enemy Territory?

Are You in Enemy Territory?

14 But how are people to call upon Him Whom they have not believed [in Whom they have no faith, on Whom they have no reliance]? And how are they to believe in Him [adhere to, trust in, and rely upon Him] of Whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without a preacher?

15 And how can men [be expected to] preach unless they are sent? As it is written, How beautiful are the feet of those who bring glad tidings! [How welcome is the coming of those who preach the good news of His good things!]

Imagine being asked to go into battle. Then imagine if your assignment is to go behind enemy lines. Your mission is to bring back to safety as many people as possible.

Are you aware of the tremendous opportunities you have behind enemy lines? God may have you right where HE wants you. He has placed you behind enemy lines. Satan is the enemy of God and the prince of this world. He is a liar and thief. Satan wants to destroy marriages, condemn, blame and deceive people. He wants people to live in spiritual blindness and emptiness. He wants to defeat any child of God. Behind enemy lines these people are controlled by the power of the enemy of God. These people have adopted the enemy’s characteristics. They are enslaved to addictions, anger, bitterness and unforgiveness. Their mind and soul have been taken captive as prisoners. They want to be set free.

God needs you to go behind enemy lines and help set these people free.

Your workplace, neighborhood, school, doctor’s office, hair dresser and even family may be the exact place where God wants you to begin your missionary work. You are God’s ambassador to this foreign land. This is not your home. You are in enemy country; your home is in the Kingdom of God. The King has sent you on the mission to recover as many people for HIS eternal Kingdom as possible.

The people who occupy the land (homes, neighborhoods, schools, workplace) have surely heard about the miraculous acts of the God of Israel, Jesus of Nazareth, who heals, forgives sin, redeems, restores, reconciles, gives hope and gives freedom to people. However, the opportunity for you is those people have never met anyone who sincerely can explain Jesus and the forgiveness of sin to them. Share your story of God’s grace in your life. This is your mission and calling: to bring back HOME as many as possible.
