Are you trusting in man or God?

“Helping People Fulfill God’s Plan For Their Lives Through Business”

Are you trusting in man or God?

Has your heart turned away from God?

Do you depend on yourself for your strength?

Are you cursed or blessed?

5 This is what the LORD says: “Cursed is the one who trusts in man, who depends on flesh for his strength and whose heart turns away from the LORD.
He will be like a bush in the wastelands; he will not see prosperity when it comes. He will dwell in the parched places of the desert, in a salt land where no one lives.
7 “But blessed is the man who trusts in the LORD, whose confidence is in him.
8 He will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream. It does not fear when heat comes; its leaves are always green. It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit.” Jeremiah 17:5-8

What is the opposite of trusting in God? The opposite of trusting in God is trusting in man, yourself, and others. Where are you placing your soul? King David was probably hiding in caves when he wrote Psalm 25: 1-3 below:

To you, O LORD, I lift up my soul; in you I trust, O my God. Do not let me be put to shame, nor let my enemies triumph over me. No one whose hope is in you will ever be put to shame, but they will be put to shame who are treacherous without excuse. Psalm 25: 1-3

Are you going to be shamed at the end of your life? The shame is an eternal curse because you did not trust God. Did you put your full faith and trust in God? Do you trust HIM now with your current circumstance and problem? Can you humble yourself enough to come under HIS authority to trust HIM with your life? Do you trust HIM enough to cast your worries and cares on HIM? HE loves and cares for you.

Trusting God is a choice. Getting up in the morning is a choice. Going to work is a choice. What you eat is a choice. You either choose to trust God or you choose to trust yourself (man). How is it working out so far? What will you choose today? Will you choose to trust God or yourself? What are the consequences of trusting God? Blessed is the man who puts his trust in the Lord. Trusting God is never a bad decision.
