Belief is in the heart

What is it we believe in our heart?

That Jesus died on the cross for our sin?
Or that God raised HIM from the dead?

When we confess/declare/speak with our mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in our heart that God raised Jesus from the dead, salvation comes. We confess sin because we are forgiven, not to be forgiven. We have already been forgiven by the Blood of Jesus Christ through HIS Death and Resurrection.

Romans 10:9-10 AMP
9 because if you acknowledge and confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord [recognizing His power, authority, and majesty as God], and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.

Jesus died on the cross for ALL your sin and HIS Resurrection from the dead is the declaration that the payment was made. It is like when a mortgage is paid off a satisfaction of mortgage is filed with the courts showing the debt has been paid. The resurrection is the declaration that the sin debt has been paid in full.

As your belief in the Resurrected Christ grows, your declaration, confession and profession that Jesus is Lord will grow. It is your belief that God raised Jesus from the dead that drives your proclamation and confession that Jesus Christ is Lord.

We confess sin because we are forgiven, not to be forgiven. We have been forgiven and cleansed by the Blood of Jesus. Jesus’ death and resurrection is a proclamation of Righteousness. All sin, all judgment and the curse was nailed on the cross along with all disease and sickness. You have been redeemed from the fall and the Satanic Rule of this world. Jesus Christ PAID for the redemption of all mankind to those who BELIEVE in their heart that God raised Jesus from the dead.

What is the purposes of the Resurrection?

It is to declare your righteousness in Christ Jesus so that you can enter into Fellowship with God boldly without shame, guilt, sin and condemnation. It is to declare that the payment has been made for sin and death. You are a resurrected spirit living in an un-resurrected body.

24 but also on ours, to whom it is about to be reckoned — to us believing on Him who did raise up Jesus our Lord out of the dead,
25 who was delivered up because of our offenses, and was raised up because of our being declared righteous. Romans 4:24-25 YLT

The Proclamation God made when Jesus was raised from the dead is that we have been made righteous.

Knowing that God in Christ Jesus paid for ALL sin means HE does not have to stay on the cross to take one more sin. HE is declaring that HE has made us righteous by God raising Jesus from the dead. This is the declaration of the finished, complete work of salvation on the cross.

We are resurrected Spirit beings in an un-resurrected body.
