And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth. Genesis 1:28
Everything in the heaven and earth is yours O’ Lord and this is your Kingdom. Are you a steward or a Biblical owner?
God is the owner of all. HE is the creator of all. We are stewards of HIS creation. God has told us all of HIS creation is good. We are to rule over HIS creation. We are to subdue HIS Creation. We are to take dominion over HIS creation.
You can’t take dominion over or control something to which you don’t have legal title. You need Biblical ownership to become a steward over God’s creation. If you don’t have title to the property, you have no rights. You need legal title to own real estate, a business, an idea, a patent, an invention or royalties.
God wants HIS Kingdom to be established on earth as it is in heaven. HE wants to build the Kingdom of God into the lives of all. God has promised the real estate, business, idea, patent, invention and royalties to establish HIS PURPOSE here on earth as it is in heaven. HE wants all of HIS resources to bring glory and honor to HIM. He wants HIS creation to be fruitful, replenished and multiplied. HE wants HIS creation to be managed and controlled. HE wants HIS people to take control and dominion over HIS creation.
What is the reward for good stewardship?
21“His master replied, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master’s happiness!’
The world system wants less responsibility with more money. God’s economic system says to take dominion, control, subdue, replenish, multiply and be fruitful. The reward for good stewardship is greater responsibility and entering into the joy of the Lord.
