Claim against you?

What is the claim that the enemy is shouting against you?

A claim is an accusation or assertion which may be brought against you. Attorneys make claims for their client against their opponent. Often the attorney’s claims are filled with facts against you which may not be the truth.

Here are some claims against you by the attorney the devil. This attorney wants you to be filled with fear and believe the claims against you.

I will not amount to anything. I am not very pretty. I am not smart. I am not good enough. I cannot make it. I am not successful. I am sick and unhealthy. I will get heart disease, diabetes or alzheimers because it runs in my family. My father was an alcoholic so I will also be an alcoholic. My kids will never amount to anything. God will not forgive me for _______. God cannot love me because of what I did. I will never get married. I will never have children. I am going to get fired. I am going to get divorced. I cannot make it without my spouse. I am going to get cancer or some other disease. I am not loved. I cannot make it through my current problem, situation or circumstance. This mountain is too big.

The attorney is shouting curses against you which reside in your thinking. Some of the claims may be facts, however these facts are not the truth. Jesus Christ is the truth. Jesus came to set you free from the works/thinking of the enemy. Jesus has given you victory through his death, burial and resurrection to free you from the claims of the attorney. You are no longer under the curse but the blessing.

Just like the Israelites were delivered out of Egypt, Jesus came to deliver you from the wickedness and attorney’s claims against you.

So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed. John 8:36

4 Who gave (yielded) Himself up [to atone] for our sins [and to save and sanctify us], in order to rescue and deliver us from this present wicked age and world order, in accordance with the will and purpose and plan of our God and Father. Galatians 1:4 AMP

You have been made righteous through Jesus Christ. You are not under the curse or claims of the attorney coming against you.

God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God. 2 Corinthians 5:21

You have a Power of Attorney – Jesus Christ – to act against the claims of the attorney. Jesus took all the claims on the cross and exchanged them for HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS.
