Do you really want your soul and life restored?

Do you really want your mind, emotions and feelings restored to peace and calm? Do you really want to live without fear? Do you really want to be restored to righteousness?

Is the storm you are facing so big and dark you can’t see any light?

God wants to restore your soul. HE wants your cup running over. HE wants you living in green pastures. HE wants to comfort you. HE wants to lead you by the still, calm waters. HE wants to take you to the green pastures to feed you. HE wants to give you HIS life-giving Word as food where you will never be hungry again. HE wants to fill you with HIS life-giving Spirit. HE loves you so much HE comes to you. HE has come to restore your soul.

HE cannot work with prideful, arrogant, self-sufficient, stubborn, rebellious sheep. HE wants your humble broken heart. HE does HIS best work in restoring broken hearts when they are broken and contrite. A stubborn heart is not willing to follow the Shepherd. A prideful heart is not willing to listen to the Shepherd.

We are so familiar with Psalm 23 that we sometimes miss the message of God’s Word speaking directly into our heart. Allow the Word of God to penetrate your mind, feelings and emotions to restore your soul.

  1. The LORD is my shepherd, I shall not be in want.
  2. He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters,
  3. he restores my soul. He guides me in paths of righteousness for his name’s sake.
  4. Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.
  5. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows.
  6. Surely goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever.
