Eleventh Day of Christmas

Eleventh Day of Christmas

On the eleventh day of Christmas my true love gave to me a “Child.”
I have some good news and some bad news. Which do you want first? The bad news is you are going to die a physical death. The bad news is you will have problems and suffering in this world. The good news is that a child is born sent by HOLY GOD and is GOD HIMSELF in the sinless flesh. This child has been sent to all the people with great joy because HE is a Savior and redeemer of sin. You can be born again. Yes you will die a physical death. You can be born again into a Spiritual, Eternal Life through the child Jesus who has come as a sin offering for the forgiveness of your sin.
And there were shepherds living out in the fields nearby, keeping watch over their flocks at night. An angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were terrified. But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people. Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord. This will be a sign to you: You will find a baby (child) wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger.”
Suddenly a great company of the heavenly host appeared with the angel, praising God and saying, “Glory to God in the highest heaven, and on earth peace to those on whom his favor rests.” Luke 2:8-14
The Good News is Jesus condemned all the sins of the world on the cross at HIS death. The Good News is HE arose from the dead. HE is alive. The Good News is you have a King, a Lord and Savior who is alive. You can praise God; you can give Glory to God for HIS goodness in redeeming you and bringing you into HIS family as a son and daughter of Jesus Christ. You are a child of God. Your identity and birthright is Jesus Christ. You are sealed and marked as a child of the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. You can walk in the righteousness of your savior and Lord. You can wear the crown of righteousness because your sin, guilt, fear, shame, arrogance, pride, anger, addictions, and failures have been expunged.
The Good News is that because of the new freedom you have through the forgiveness of your sin, you can love and forgive others like Jesus Christ has loved and forgiven you. You are called a friend of Christ when you love others. The Good News is the mysteries of heaven will be revealed to you as you love and forgive others as God loved you.
The Good News is the favor of God will rest on you and bring you peace. HIS presence will be with you. HE will never leave you nor forsake you. The Glory of the Lord will rest on you as HIS dearly loved child.
