Fear of Tomorrow

Fear of Tomorrow

Many Christians are living in fear of tomorrow or even today. They are living regretting the past. The Lord Jesus Christ came to give you life and victory for today, yesterday and tomorrow.
So do not worry or be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will have worries and anxieties of its own. Sufficient for each day is its own trouble. Matthew 6:34
Fret not, faint not and fear not, the Lord is with you. HE holds you in HIS mighty arms. Worry is wasting today’s time to clutter up tomorrow’s opportunities with yesterday’s troubles.
Hudson Taylor, missionary to China and founder of what is today known as the Overseas Missionary Fellowship, gave this excellent advice: “Let us give up our work, our plans, ourselves, our lives, our loved ones, our influence, our all, right into [God’s] hand; and then, when we have given all over to Him, there will be nothing left for us to be troubled about.”
The role of a parent is to teach his children. God is always teaching HIS children. God is teaching HIS children continually to trust HIM daily. What was the purpose of manna for the Israelites in the desert?
Deut 8:3 He humbled you, causing you to hunger and then feeding you with manna, which neither you nor your fathers had known, to teach you that man does not live on bread alone but on every word that comes from the mouth of the LORD.
Deut 8:16 He gave you manna to eat in the desert, something your fathers had never known, to humble and to test you so that in the end it might go well with you.
Chuck Swindoll says, “Worry pulls tomorrow’s cloud over today’s sunshine.”
Trust God to meet all your needs today. Your daddy, your heavenly father, the creator of the universe wants you to trust HIM with ALL. The victory is the Lord’s. When you claim the victory is through your own efforts, then there will be more teaching and testing to humble you so that you will learn to trust the Lord with everything.
You will have victory over the fear of today and tomorrow by trusting every word which comes out of the mouth of the Lord. This is your daily manna (food).
