Hope Never Disappoints

God’s Love never fails and will not disappoint you. God’s love is poured out in your heart through the Holy Spirit living in you. God’s perfect love poured out for you defeats all fear. You were created with love. Fear was never part of God’s design plan for you and all mankind. This love is developed through your endurance, developing character and a joyful, confident HOPE of your salvation.
And endurance (fortitude) develops maturity of character (approved faith and tried integrity). And character [of this sort] produces [the habit of] joyful and confident hope of eternal salvation.
Such hope never disappoints or deludes or shames us, for God’s love has been poured out in our hearts through the Holy Spirit Who has been given to us. Romans 5:4-5 AMP
When we grasp the depth of God’s love, there is a confidence and boldness in our hope secured in the finished work of Jesus Christ on the Cross. This is revealed through the testing of our character which produces a Joyful HOPE revealed through the Holy Spirit.
This is a Joyful and Confident HOPE which does not disappoint. This HOPE is for your good. There is no fear of tomorrow or even today. Your confident HOPE is in the resurrected Christ. The temporal worldly hope will disappoint you but God’s unconditional love for you will never, ever disappoint you.
Christ took all shame, disappointment, despair, and discouragement on the cross. HE cried out loudly, “IT IS FINISHED.” The curse is gone. You have been justified and made righteous. The veil has been lifted and the entrance into the Holy of Holies is open to you.
To say you are not worthy of entering into God’s presence is to insult the ONE who paid the price. Your sin conscious has been removed; God sees Christ in you. You have been made in the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. You are in Christ and the Holy Spirit lives in you. You are the Royal Priesthood.
The HOPE you have is that the full debt payment has been made. You are now “righteousness conscious” not “guilt or sin conscious.” The bleeding woman had hope she would be healed if she touched Jesus’ clothes. Jesus did not disappoint.
Your HOPE is in the resurrected Christ which is an expression of your joyful faith and the Glory of God shining in your life.
