How hot can the furnace get?

114x114-Repple-Minute

When will you give up? At what price will you give into temptation?

17 Though the fig tree should not blossom and there be no fruit on the vines, Though the yield of the olive should fail and the fields produce no food, Though the flock should be cut off from the fold and there be no cattle in the stalls,

18 Yet I will exult in the LORD, I will rejoice in the God of my salvation.

19 The Lord GOD is my strength, and He has made my feet like hinds’ feet, and makes me walk on my high places. Habakkuk 3:17-19

No matter the circumstance or the heat of the fire Habakkuk said he will praise the Lord. Habakkuk said “I will” praise the Lord. Habakkuk was not waiting for his spouse, he was not waiting for the pastor, and he was not waiting for anyone else to praise the Lord. He said he would unconditionally praise the Lord. Are you waiting for someone else to praise the Lord? Are you willing to praise the Lord even when others will not? Are you willing to praise the Lord in the loss of a job, marriage, or even life? Are you willing to praise Him when facing any injustice? Habakkuk said “I will.”

How hot does the furnace have to get for you to give up praising the Lord? Are you willing to surrender your reputation, your business, your net worth, your house, your income, your family, your all and say “I will praise the Lord” no matter the circumstance or how hot the furnace? I will love, trust and follow God no matter the circumstance. There is nothing which can separate me from Christ’s redeeming and forgiving love. I am committed to HIM. I am all in. I will rejoice in the Lord always.

God will make you walk in high places because of HIS power and might, not yours. Trust in the Lord will ALL of your heart and HE will lift you up. HE will help you walk above your problems. HE has promised that HE will not give you more than you can handle. The furnace will never get too hot. God is always about HIS work of teaching HIS children to trust and obey. HIS laws are RIGHT.

The furnace can never get too hot. I will always trust and follow the Lord. HE is my strength. HE is my salvation.
