“Helping People Fulfill God’s Plan For Their Lives Through Business”
Did Jesus claim to be God? Who can give eternal life? God is the only one who can give eternal life. Jesus claims to give eternal life.
Jesus replied, “I have already told you, and you don’t believe me. The proof is the work I do in my Father’s name. But you don’t believe me because you are not my sheep. My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me. I give them eternal life, and they will never perish. No one can snatch them away from me, for my Father has given them to me, and he is more powerful than anyone else. No one can snatch them from the Father’s hand. The Father and I are one.”
Once again the people picked up stones to kill him. Jesus said, “At my Father’s direction I have done many good works. For which one are you going to stone me?”
They replied, “We’re stoning you not for any good work, but for blasphemy! You, a mere man, claim to be God.” John 10:25-33
Look at the promises God gives us through Jesus:
- His sheep (children of God) listen to and follow Him
- His sheep (children of God) know God’s voice.
- God knows the sheep (children of God).
- Jesus gives us eternal life.
- You will never perish.
- No one can snatch you from Jesus.
- God has given you to Jesus.
- God is more powerful than anything else.
- No one can snatch you from God’s hand.
- Jesus and God are one.
Your assurance of salvation is found in Jesus. Your new life is in Christ. You will never perish. Your sin past, present and future was condemned on the cross 2000 years ago through the blood of Jesus Christ. Your freedom, victory and identity is in Christ.
Many people have a hard time seeing through spiritual eyes. They can only see Jesus as a mere man instead of God. If Jesus is not God, then Christ’s crucifixion on the cross is without merit. We have just celebrated Jesus’ life, death and resurrection around the earth. The enemy of God wants to discredit Jesus Christ.
The enemy would like to see Santa Claus elevated higher than Jesus Christ. The enemy of God would like to get you to believe that Jesus is not God. Jesus claimed to be God when He said, “I and the Father are one.” Jesus is worthy of your praise and worship. Jesus allowed himself to be worshipped because HE is God.
