Jesus was a Threat

“Helping People Fulfill God’s Plan For Their Lives Through Business”

Jesus performed many miracles which threatened many people. Your boldness for Christ may be a threat to others.
Just because Jesus performed miracles does not mean everyone who witnessed these miracles believed in HIM. As a matter of fact, it led to government officials wanting to kill Jesus.
You would think people who saw Jesus perform His greatest miracle would come to put their faith in Him. Every miracle Jesus performed was special, however the raising of Lazarus from the dead was by far one of the greatest. How would you have reacted if you had witnessed this miracle? Lazarus had been dead for four days.
Jesus called in a loud voice, “Lazarus, come out!” The dead man came out, his hands and feet wrapped with strips of linen, and a cloth around his face. John 11: 13-14
Why did Jesus perform this miracle?
When he heard this, Jesus said, “This sickness will not end in death. No, it is for God’s glory so that God’s Son may be glorified through it.” John 11:4
Then Jesus said, “Did I not tell you that if you believed, you would see the glory of God?” John 11:40
Following Lazarus coming back from the dead and upon seeing what Jesus had done, many of the Jews who had come with Mary believed in Him. [They trusted in Him and adhered to Him and relied on Him.] John 11:45
However, many were threatened by Jesus. So from that day on they took counsel and plotted together how they might put Him to death. John 11:53
Have you embraced Jesus totally and wholeheartedly?
Are you sharing the miracles of Christ in your life? Are you a witness to others about your changed and redeemed life through Christ Jesus?
You may be a threat to others around you when you share the truth of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. People of this world want to believe lies, not truth. They are filled with lies. Your transformed, redeemed and joy-filled life is a threat to their self-effort and self-confidence.
Your light shining in darkness is attractive and can become a threat to others. The Holy Spirit gives you victory over people pleasing. Let the living Light of Christ shine in all you say and do today.
