Kingdom Living in Power and Authority

Kingdom Living in Power and Authority

Rebellion

God is all powerful. God has given his power and authority to man to rule and reign here on earth by bringing heaven to earth now.

Where do you get your authority?

Kingdom Authority will never be given to a rebel. If you are in rebellion against the King, you will not receive HIS authority. Authority is only given to those who are under the King’s authority. You cannot receive authority no matter how much you try unless you come under the King’s ultimate authority. Authority in the Kingdom of God is not given to rebels.

□ For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because you have rejected the word of the LORD, he has also rejected you from being king. 1 Samuel 15:23

Rebellion is like witchcraft. God is not going to give the keys to the Kingdom of God to a person following witchcraft or the idol of arrogance and pride.

Kingdom Authority comes when you surrender. “Hands up” – this is what a robber says to you. Surrender is when your hands are up, open wide, not holding onto anything. There is no bitterness, no unforgiveness, no regret, and no pity. You have given up (surrendered) the worship of temporal false idols of entertainment, beauty, money, prestige, power and control.

24 Then Jesus said to his disciples, “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me. 25 For whoever wants to save their life will lose it, but whoever loses their life for me will find it.” Matthew 16:24-25

Kingdom Authority comes with you getting off the throne and getting on the cross, surrendering everything to the Throne of Jesus Christ as King and Lord. You bow down and worship the King. You bow down to the King and desire to be under HIS RULE and AUTHORITY.

When you seek to be under the King’s authority, HE gives you authority to go make disciples, to be a witness of HIS transforming power, to heal the sick and cast out demons.
