Kingdom Living Is Knowing God

Kingdom Living Is Knowing God

If you had to know one thing, what is the number one thing to know in life?

It is to know God and to know God loves you. To know you are made in HIS image and to know HIS Holy Spirit lives in the born-again believer.

However, confusion is the result of man’s fallen nature. God is spirit and must be worshiped in SPIRIT and TRUTH. Man’s fallen nature in rebellion to the Kingdom of God confuses man about the truth of God.

When Adam and Eve rejected God’s Kingdom and choose to go their own way, they tried to cover their treasonous nature toward God (nakedness) with fig leaves. They thought they could cover their rebellion by hiding from God. They thought their own efforts could cover over their high treason against the Government of God. They were afraid to stand before God, so they hid. Man’s fallen nature causes confusion and a depraved mind toward God.

Confusion begins when we start to pursue the pleasures of the world with a disregard for the Government and Kingdom of God. The more sin (selfish desire) is pursued, the more sin is rationalized and dulled. Sin becomes a justification for the pleasure in the mind, heart and soul. Sin (selfish desire) damages the soul and makes you a partner with the enemy of God. The enemy of God welcomes the playground of a dulled conscience. His lies continue to push you further from God.

Furthermore, just as they did not think it worthwhile to retain the knowledge of God, so God gave them over to a depraved mind, so that they do what ought not to be done. They have become filled with every kind of wickedness, evil, greed and depravity. They are full of envy, murder, strife, deceit and malice. They are gossips, slanderers, God-haters, insolent, arrogant and boastful; they invent ways of doing evil; they disobey their parents; they have no understanding, no fidelity, no love, no mercy. Although they know God’s righteous decree that those who do such things deserve death, they not only continue to do these very things but also approve of those who practice them. Romans 1:28-32

The result of sin in your soul is the Lord not hearing you. Your fellowship with Father God is broken. Your depraved mind, feelings and emotions become filled with wickedness, evil, greed, deceit, malice, gossip, slander, arrogance, disobedience, lack of mercy and forgiveness, and lack of love and integrity. The result is that sin deserves death. Sin also approves of others who are practicing rebellion against God.

The antidote to sin is to seek first the knowledge of the Kingdom of God (Holy Spirit) and HIS righteousness. There is no sin in the Kingdom of God. When you confess your sin and repent , God is faithful and just and will forgive your sin. Pursue the knowledge and truth of God with the same and even greater passion as you have pursued sin. You are God’s righteousness; walk in the knowledge and truth of who you are in Christ Jesus with the Spirit of God living in you.

To know God is the number purpose of life.
