Kingdom Living is not loving the world
Do you desire to be accepted by the world?
See what [an incredible] quality of love the Father has given (shown, bestowed on) us, that we should [be permitted to] be named and called and counted the children of God! And so we are! The reason that the world does not know (recognize, acknowledge) us is that it does not know (recognize, acknowledge) Him.
In this [union and communion with Him] love is brought to completion and attains perfection with us, that we may have confidence for the day of judgment [with assurance and boldness to face Him], because as He is, so are we in this world.
1 John 3:1, 4:17AMP
If the world did not know Jesus how then will the world accept you? The world did not accept Jesus’ love, redemption, grace, mercy and forgiveness. God’s incredible love allows those who receive HIM to be children of God.
God’s incredible union of love for the world was rejected. Jesus came to redeem the world from the curse of sin and death, yet the world did not receive HIM. As HE is so are you in this world. Jesus was rejected. So as a follower of Christ, expect to be rejected by the world.
The world’s desires and motives are different than the Kingdom of God’s purpose which lives and remains forever in the born-again follower of Christ.
16 For all that is in the world—the lust of the flesh [craving for sensual gratification] and the lust of the eyes [greedy longings of the mind] and the pride of life [assurance in one’s own resources or in the stability of earthly things]—these do not come from the Father but are from the world [itself].
17 And the world passes away and disappears, and with it the forbidden cravings (the passionate desires, the lust) of it; but he who does the will of God and carries out His purposes in his life abides (remains) forever. 1 John 2:16-17 AMP
God’s union of love is made complete and perfected in you. When you love the unlovable, you are being made complete and perfect. When you resist the world’s system and seek first the Kingdom of God, you are being made complete and perfected in God’s love.
You can stand boldly before the throne having been made complete and perfected in God’s love and righteousness in Christ Jesus.
Go today and build everything today based upon God’s Agape Love for you!
