Life Begins in Christ

Life Begins in Christ

Here is a big question:
When did/do you die?
Have you already died or are you waiting to die?
The devil wants you to believe that you have not died, that death is still in the future. No, no, no, no! The devil is stealing the victory Jesus’ death gives to ALL. Jesus’ Sacrificial Death was given freely on the cross by the payment of Jesus’ blood for all to have victory over death, sin, curse and judgment now. What Jesus did in the past is for ALL to receive life and freedom now.
Your life begins at Jesus’ death – “Christ Crucified.” You are a Spirit Being created in God’s image from the beginning for HIS PURPOSE. Your life has been crucified “died with Christ,” just like Paul says boldly about his death and life in Christ. Paul is writing about his new life. You can write and speak this about your death and new life in Christ. Here are three different translations for the same passage. Then you can put your name in a paraphrased passage.
20 I have been crucified with Christ[that is, in Him I have shared His crucifixion]; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body I live by faith [by adhering to, relying on, and completely trusting] in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself up for me. Galatians 2:20 AMP
As far as the Law is concerned I may consider that I died on the cross with Christ. And my present life is not that of the old “I”, but the living Christ within me. The bodily life I now live, I live believing in the Son of God, who loved me and sacrificed himself for me. Consequently I refuse to stultify the grace of God by reverting to the Law. For if righteousness were possible under the Law then Christ died for nothing! Galatians 2: 20-21 JB Phillips
19-21 What actually took place is this: I tried keeping rules and working my head off to please God, and it didn’t work. So I quit being a “law man” so that I could be God’s man. Christ’s life showed me how, and enabled me to do it. I identified myself completely with him. Indeed, I have been crucified with Christ. My ego is no longer central. It is no longer important that I appear righteous before you or have your good opinion, and I am no longer driven to impress God. Christ lives in me. The life you see me living is not “mine,” but it is lived by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. I am not going to go back on that. Galatians 2:19-21 Message
Put your name in the following paraphrase of Galatians 2:20. Speak it out loud!
“I ________ have died with Christ. I ______have been Crucified with Christ on the Cross and it is no longer _________ who lives but Christ living in me. I am a living Spirit Being designed to live forever in Christ Jesus.”
You have died already and are alive in the power of the Holy Spirit housed in your Sanctified, Holy Temple through the cleansing power of the Blood of Jesus Christ.
