Means to an end

Gain is godliness. Do you think gain is godliness? There are those false teachers which teach that gain is tied to godliness. The score card which they judge is money. The more gain, power and position one has they think this is tied to godliness. The ability to produce gain becomes the rule of their life. Their objective is earthly gain and prosperity. They have earthly thinking verses Kingdom of God thinking.

These people always cause trouble. Their minds are corrupt, and they have turned their backs on the truth. To them, a show of godliness is just a way to become wealthy. 1Timothy 6:5 NLT

Some use Jesus as a means to an end. Some think that Jesus is a means to gain riches and wealth. Some think that Jesus is a means to and end of more empty, temporary stuff.

Is Jesus a means to get more stuff? Or is Jesus the end? Is Jesus enough or do you need something more? Is Jesus your ALL? Is Jesus the means to the end or has HE made you complete in righteousness and holiness before Almighty God?

Men who are corrupt with a carnal mind are seeking a worldly advantage. They seek wealth at all cost. The craving mammon god is always hungry for more. The mammon god is never content. The mammon god wants you to feed him all the time. The mammon god wants your worship. The mammon god is always battling with the God of Israel, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.

The truth is “godliness with contentment is great gain.” 1Timothy 6:6

The truth is that riches and honor come from God alone. God is the ruler of HIS Kingdom. HE disperses HIS resources as HE pleases. The truth is God owns everything. You came into the world naked and will leave the world naked.

I have learned to be content whatever the circumstances. I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want. I can do all this through him who gives me strength. Philippians 4:11-13

Jesus came in human flesh to give you HIS life so you can have life abundant. HE is the ultimate means to great gain. Total and complete contentment can only be found in HIM which is great gain. Godliness with contentment is great gain.

□ Your salvation and redemption from the Satanic Rule of Satan is great gain.
□ Knowing you can enter into God’s presence is great gain.
□ Knowing God accepts you and loves you is great gain.
□ Knowing you have been made Righteous by Jesus Christ is great gain.
□ Knowing you will never die spiritually is great gain.
□ Knowing you are seated at the right hand of God in Christ Jesus is great gain.
□ Knowing you have the legal authority to use the name of Jesus is great gain.
