Remind God of His Promises

Nehemiah, when he received the news that the walls of his community had been torn down and gates burned, first sat down and wept. For days he mourned and fasted and prayed before the God of heaven.
Nehemiah reminded God of HIS promises:
“Remember the instruction you gave your servant Moses, saying, ‘If you are unfaithful, I will scatter you among the nations, but if you return to me and obey my commands, then even if your exiled people are at the farthest horizon, I will gather them from there and bring them to the place I have chosen as a dwelling for my Name.’
“They are your servants and your people, whom you redeemed by your great strength and your mighty hand. O Lord, let your ear be attentive to the prayer of this your servant and to the prayer of your servants who delight in revering your name. Give your servant success today by granting him favor in the presence of this man.” I was cupbearer to the king. Nehemiah 1:8-11
Remind God of your current circumstance today. Remind HIM how HE delivered the Israelites out of Egypt. Remind HIM how HE provided for the Israelites in the desert and HE can provide for you. Remind HIM how HE fed the five-thousand. Remind HIM that greater is HE that is in you than he that is in the world. Remind HIM that HE did not give you a spirit of fear but a Spirit of power, love and a sound mind. Remind HIM that you are not the tail but the head. Remind HIM that all things work together for good for those who love HIM and are called according to HIS purpose so that HE can have more sons and daughters. Remind HIM that perfect loves cast out fear.
Walk today in the promises of God. Remind HIM of HIS promises as you face circumstances and problems today. Trust HIM and don’t lean on your own understanding. HE will make your path straight.
