Seven Blessings

Seven Blessings

As you read the following verses from Psalm 41 identify seven blessings.
BLESSED (HAPPY, fortunate, to be envied) is he who considers the weak and the poor; the Lord will deliver him in the time of evil and trouble.
The Lord will protect him and keep him alive; he shall be called blessed in the land; and You will not deliver him to the will of his enemies.
The Lord will sustain, refresh, and strengthen him on his bed of languishing; all his bed You [O Lord] will turn, change, and transform in his illness. Psalms 41:1-3 AMP
What is the condition of the blessing and favor of the Lord on you? If you will give, consider and help the poor, then you will receive the following seven blessings:
  • The LORD will deliver you in time of evil and trouble. (You will be delivered from your problem, circumstance, finances, depression, anxiety, hurt, injustice, slander, sorrow, abuse, addiction, and grieving.)
  • The LORD will protect and preserve you. (God is faithful so yourhope for the future rests upon God’s faithfulness. Because He is faithful, His covenants will stand and His promises will be honored.)
  • HE will keep you alive. (He will keep your marriage alive and your hope and dreams alive. You may get discouraged but never give up. HE will sustain you through troubled waters, you will not get killed by a lawsuit, bankruptcy, divorce, slanderous attack or the loss of possessions. You will stay alive through a rebellious child, a sickness, disease, car accident or loss of child. You were created for eternity.)
  • You shall be blessed upon the earth and land. (God knew you from the beginning and formed you in your mother’s womb.)
  • You will not be delivered into the will of your enemy. (The enemy Satan came to steal, kill and destroy relationships, marriages, families, and business. Jesus came to redeem, restore and reconcile all mankind back in relationship to God to give life abundantly forever and ever.)
  • The Lord will sustain, refresh, and strengthen you on your bed of pain and hurt. (Restoration and healing comes through the perseverance of pain and suffering; never ever, ever, ever give up.)
  • The Lord will transform, turn and change you during this time of pain, sorrow, loss and hurt. (We have flawed thinking believing we should not suffer or have pain. God’s mercies are best demonstrated through tears, sorrow and suffering.)

God is in the changing-you-into-HIS-image business.
