Tenth of Christmas a Party

On the tenth day of Christmas my true love gave to me a “party.”

Your party is just beginning.

Your heavenly father sees you. HE knows you. HE is filled with compassion toward you. HE wants to embrace you. HE wants to kiss you. HE is waiting and looking for you. HE is knocking at the door of your rebellious heart. Will you open the door so HE can come in and let the party begin?

Put your name in the blank lines below.

And while ______ was still a long way off, ______’s father saw him coming home. Filled with love and compassion, ______’s father ran toward him, HE embraced _______, and kissed _______.

The story of the Prodigal Son is about your heavenly father welcoming you home. Your father knows you are rebellious, HE knows you are prideful and arrogant, HE knows you are selfish, HE knows you have squandered all your resources, HE knows you wanted wealth and wild living, HE knows your independent spirit, HE knows you are empty, HE wants to kiss you and welcome you home.

Your home is in a restored relationship with God. Your home is in the Garden of Eden before the fall of Adam and Eve. Since your ancestors sinned, your sinful nature is in rebellion against God. Christmas has come. Jesus Christ has come to redeem and restore you back into the rightful position with HOLY GOD. Jesus Christ came to die for your sin and reconcile your relationship with your FATHER.

The Party is just beginning. Your Heavenly Father wants to give you ALL HE has for you. HE wants you to wear HIS robe and HIS ring. HE wants to clothe you and restore you. HE wants to give you a feast in celebration of your reconciliation with the FATHER. Your party is just beginning.

“So he returned home to his father. And while he was still a long way off, his father saw him coming. Filled with love and compassion, he ran to his son, embraced him, and kissed him. His son said to him, ‘Father, I have sinned against both heaven and you, and I am no longer worthy of being called your son.’

“But his father said to the servants, ‘Quick! Bring the finest robe in the house and put it on him. Get a ring for his finger and sandals for his feet. And kill the calf we have been fattening. We must celebrate with a feast, for this son of mine was dead and has now returned to life. He was lost, but now he is found.’ So the party began.” Luke 15:20-24 NLT

You can celebrate! You are a redeemed child of God. You are restored into the family of God. You can rest and not worry because your father will never leave you nor forsake you. You are home forever. Your party with your father is just beginning. You are the Christmas tree that shines brightly to the world. Celebrate the Joy of the Lord. Shine Jesus Shine!
