What does your life consist in?

If life does not consist in the abundance of your possessions, then what does your life consist in?
Does your life consist in the accumulation of possessions so that you can say to yourself, “I have done well, I will take it easy and eat, drink and be merry”?
15 Then he (Jesus) said to them, “Watch out! Be on your guard against all kinds of greed; a man’s life does not consist in the abundance of his possessions.”
What does this mean, “life does not consist in the abundance of my possessions”?
In what then does life consist if not in things and possessions? Jesus is saying life does not consist in the temporary idols of possessions; houses, cars, and everything else are not taken into eternity.
Job lost his 10 children and all of his businesses (wealth), yet he could say, “Praise be to God. Naked I came into the world and naked I will leave the world.” Job knew that life did not consist in the abundance of possessions.
“Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moth and rust do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.”
“No one can serve two masters. Either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and Money.”
“So do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.
Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.” Matthew 6:19-21, 24, 31-34
Jesus said, “I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.” Life consists in being totally completely connected to the Vine. Jesus came to give you “Zoe Life” God’s Life. God’s Life is abundant, righteous and filled with grace, mercy and love. Jesus purpose for coming to earth is to bring God’s Life. Jesus gave you the gift of Righteousness. HE took all sin, disease, sickness, the curse and give you HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS.
