What If

Are you living a life of “what if”? Are you living a life of “I could’ve” or “I should’ve”? Are you living a life of “I allowed this to happen”?The enemy of God is an accuser. He wants your mind to replay these themes in your head. If he can control your thinking by having you believe in “what ifs” then he has you living in regret of the past and worry of the future. Satan is a roaring lion; he wants to attack and kill you. He wants you to live in self-pity, regret and defeat. He loves to use condemnation as a tool to defeat you and make you a slave to him.Did Job when he lost all of his business interests, wealth and children have any regrets? No, he praised God and said naked I came into the world and naked I will leave the world, praise be to God. King David had victory over his adultery and murder. David confessed his sin and repented of his sin. Moses had victory over his murder and led the Israelites out of slavery. Rehab the prostitute had victory over her sin. Jesus’ blood was shed to give you victory over the sin of regret, condemnation, what ifs, should’ve or could’ve.Jesus said to her (Martha the sister of the dead man Lazarus), Did I not tell you and promise you that if you would believe and rely on ME, you would see the glory of God? John 11:40

Jesus is telling you and HE is promising you: If you will believe, trust and have faith in HIM, then you will see; which is to witness, experience and know the Glory of the Kingdom of God. When you see the Glory of God working in your life, it transforms you. You move from what if to praise and thanksgiving.

Do you believe Jesus is God? Do believe Jesus died for your sin and HIS blood was shed as a total and complete sacrifice for all of your sin in the past, the present and the future? Do you believe Jesus arose from the dead and conquered sin and death? Do you believe that you are a child of God? Do you believe that you are an heir of God and a joint heir with Jesus Christ? Do you believe when Jesus died on the cross HE defeated Satan? Do you believe that God allows adversity, testing and problems in your life to see what is in your heart and mind? Do you believe that your yesterday, today and tomorrow is better with God and that you have no regrets of the past because of the righteousness of Jesus Christ? Do you believe that you have been totally washed of all your sin, regrets and fear of today and tomorrow?

If you believe all these things about God then demonstrate your belief by the way you speak and live by praising God and rejoicing in all things. The glory of the Lord is your strength; trust the Lord with your daily manna today and tomorrow.
