What is Being Revealed?

As you read Romans 1:6-7, answer what is the mystery being revealed in the Gospel.
I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation [from His wrath and punishment] to everyone who believes [in Christ as Savior], to the Jew first and also to the Greek. For in the gospel the righteousness of God is revealed, both springing from faith and leading to faith [disclosed in a way that awakens more faith]. As it is written and forever remains written, “The just and upright shall live by faith.”
When you receive the revelation that the finished, complete work through the blood of Jesus on the cross has imputed HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS to you, your eyes will open. Your soul will be refreshed. The rivers of living water will be overflowing in you through the Holy Spirit. Your soul which is your mind, will, and emotions will move into perfect peace and rest which allows the power of God to work in your body.
The revelation of Righteousness brings the following:
  • Confidence that you have been totally forgiven of ALL your sin.
  • Confidence you have been cleansed and washed totally clean by the blood of Jesus.
  • Confidence you have been made Righteous in right standing with God.
  • Confidence God is crazy in love with you.
  • Confidence you can enter Boldly into HIS presence because of Jesus Christ’s death and shed blood on the cross.
  • Confidence you have authority and power over the darkness of this world.
As Jesus is so are you in this world.

Little children (believers, dear ones), you are of God and you belong to Him and have [already] overcome them [the agents of the antichrist]; because He who is in you is greater than he (Satan) who is in the world [of sinful mankind]. 1 John 4:4 AMP
God sees Jesus in you, not your behavior. HE sees the RIGHTEOUSNESS of God in Christ Jesus living in you. You have been washed clean. Stop thinking you are dirty, wallowing in the mud of condemnation, guilt, worry, and fear. God’s perfect love took all judgment through the blood of Jesus Christ.
  • Righteousness only comes through God’s grace and love through Jesus Christ.
  • Righteousness is not earned or merited.
  • Righteousness was paid for by the Blood of Jesus Christ.
  • Righteousness is a gift.
  • Righteousness is received.
  • Righteousness is a state of being.
  • Righteousness is revealed through the Holy Spirit.
