What is your Jericho?

What is your Jericho?

Do you have a Jericho that stands in the way of your ability to possess your abundance in Christ? Is there a virtual stronghold in your life that impedes your spiritual progress? It may be a weakness in your character, a physical infirmity, or an indifference to spiritual things in general or to a specific area you are neglecting. It could be materialism or some life-dominating pattern. It may be a difficulty in your work or home, or a difficulty with a particular personality or financial burden. Regardless of the nature of your Jericho, you must realize victory always comes through God’s plan of deliverance-never yours.

Have you identified your Jericho? Taking possession of your Jericho is never by strength. It is always by faith. How many times did the Israelites walk around Jericho? They must have felt foolish. They did not stop after the first day. Do not give up on taking possession of your Jericho. The walls of Jericho were fortified and high; they looked almost impossible to break down. The walls of your Jericho may look fortified and high.

It is by faith the walls of Jericho fell. Despite the taunts that were perhaps hurled from the walls down at them, the Israelites marched silently around Jericho. The Israelites were willing to look foolish and simply rest in the Lord. God was their source of strength.

If you want to overcome your obstacle, test, circumstance, or Jericho, you must submit to God’s way by faith. Submit all you mind, will, emotions and control over the Lord.

For we through the Spirit, by faith, are waiting for the hope of righteousness. (Galatians 5:5).

You can trust in your health, bank account, position in the community, reputation, talent, education, and abilities; God wants you to live an abundant life. God wants your Jericho to crumble by faith in HIM. HE wants you to trust HIM with all your heart and wait on the Lord.

Commit your ways to the Lord and HE will give you the desires of your heart. God will never leave you or forsake you. Keep walking around your Jericho; never, ever, ever give up. God has given you victory over your Jericho situation, circumstance, or problem. It is time to shout at the Jericho wall so that it will come tumbling down.

22 Jesus replied, “Have faith in God [constantly]. 23 I assure you and most solemnly say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be lifted up and thrown into the sea!’ and does not doubt in his heart [in God’s unlimited power], but believes that what he says is going to take place, it will be done for him [in accordance with God’s will]. Mark 11:22-23 AMP

It is time to say and speak to the problem in Jesus Name. Cancer, sickness, pain, disease and infection you do not belong in my temple. Get out of my body in Jesus name.

Spirit of lack, inferiority, depression, offense and oppression get out of my mind in Jesus name. Fill me will your Holy Spirit which is God’s supreme power living in me.
