You will have less when you give

This is a big lie. Satan wants you to believe that you will have less when you are generous. Grace and peace be yours in abundance.
Matthew 13:12
Whoever has will be given more, and he will have an abundance. Whoever does not have, even what he has will be taken from him.
Hebrews 11:6
And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.
God’s economy is totally different than man’s economy. Man thinks he has a scarcity of resources. God’s economy is abundant and infinite in resources. God’s transcendent economy rewards those who earnestly seek HIM with all of their heart.
The purpose of the desert or wilderness experience is to test your heart. Will you remain faithful no matter the circumstance? Generosity is also a measure of the heart. Will you be generous with your time, talents and treasures?
Luke 6:38
Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.
Is God’s economy so different that when we give generously, HE rewards us with increase beyond all measure? God gave HIS son as a sacrifice for your sin. We are called to be living sacrifices, holy and acceptable to God. This is your act of worship that brings pleasure to God. God desires mercy more than sacrifice.
God wants you to inherit all of HIS abundant resources. Is it possible that through your generosity when you die to self and give out of your heart, HIS economy is furthered and increased?
Don’t believe the lie that you will have less when you give. Jesus said HE came to give you abundant life. This life is full of testing, suffering and circumstances that will bring you joy as you are tested in your giving of yourself. In God’s economy, you gain from generosity by giving of yourself.
2 Corinthians 9:10
Now HE who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will also supply and increase your store of seed and will enlarge the harvest of your righteousness.
Are you keeping (hording) the seed or giving (generosity) the seed away? What is your harvest? Is your harvest growing?
It is more blessed to give than to receive. Be a blessing as you give today in your marketplace ministry.
